Singapore city planning aims to optimize the use of scarce State land resources for the diverse needs of both present and future generations of citizens. This involves allocating land for housing, such as the use of competing for trade, industry, defense, transportation and recreation as well as determine the density of the development to a variety of locations.


The background of urban planning in Singapore

Though not a legal document, long-term plans to reveal the concept of urban planning by the Government and Singapore providing the backdrop for the preparation of the master plan. It also serves as a means of guiding the development of the scale of the public such as the construction of new towns and industrial zones as well as land reclamation. Master Plan Of Singapore
